POKOTABI / PLACES WORTH A DETOUR
鶏と海 シモミシュラン
Shimomichelin offers a range of chicken dishes, including chicken tenderloin sashimi, seared chicken breast and an assorted sashimi platter. Enjoy the chicken sashimi, then finish with a bowl of rice topped with raw egg.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
At Shimomichelin, you can pair chicken yakiniku with raw and fried dishes. One diner recalled that every cut seemed fresh and that they tried everything from raw chicken to grilled and fried dishes. The menu includes chicken sashimi such as tenderloin sashimi, seared breast and seared mature chicken thigh, as well as an assorted sashimi platter. You could start by choosing individual cuts, or compare several in a platter.
Some diners recommend the tenderloin sashimi; others say they enjoyed plenty of chicken sashimi. It could suit an evening when you want a substantial meal centred on chicken. One diner also reported finishing with a bowl of rice topped with chicken and raw egg. The menu lists TKG (rice topped with raw egg) made with Ryū no Tamago eggs, too—a dish to consider after the sashimi or grilled chicken if you still have room for rice.
Dine-in service is available, and alcoholic drinks, including beer, are served. Dinner reservations are accepted, and booking is recommended.
